I saw the exchange between you and Mitch Bass on the comments about how to start a podcast. It’s no wonder that you two had a mutually beneficial phone conversation.
Excellent YouTube video. Arthur Schopenhauer was a great soul, a (ancient Greek) μεγᾰλόψῡχος
Interesting. I had a man say, “oh, you’re an intellectual” with quite a sneer. Another told me I am a misfit. I had the exact thought in 2012 in a Nordstrom’s parking lot, “why do we work jobs we hate (or hurt people) to buy things to impress people we do not admire.” I have to thank The Strokes for that. A song came on the radio called Is This It. I was shocked into asking myself “really, is this it? Just buying things? Is there any greater purpose to my life?” I picked up a copy of Man’s Search for Meaning shortly thereafter and the Bible. I still have no idea why I am here at this time and have no answers. But a performer I am not. This was really good. Thanks. I think truly intelligent people are comfortable saying, “I don’t know.” There’s plenty of things I do not know.
The more I learn, the more I learn there is so much more I don't know! I'm sure there's more to it, but the longer I live, I feel like my purpose is the directive Jesus gave his followers which is to love God first and to love your neighbor as yourself!
