Living My Life in Wifi~July 6, 2015

The Employment Trends Are Weird In America.
2

My heart and prayers go out to so many who are suffering right now. There seems to be a huge divide between those who have everything and those who have nothing.

While our “Big Beautiful Economy” churns along, I think things are substantially worse than most people are letting on to.

Earlier today I saw numerous videos and saw articles on how people are suffering.

At the same time, here is a piece of the weirdness. There are people who are gainfully employed, have a regular pay check with health benefits but still choose to just quit.

When the people in this video go out into the open market, they will realize how tight things are and they may not be able to get another job unless their networking skills are excellent and they have resources.

Please be so kind to Subscribe to Market Gains, I do.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, there are others who can barely make ends meet while others quit? What is going on? Incredible.

In 2025, the cost of living is higher than ever, and it’s making life difficult for people everywhere. From rent and groceries to gas, utilities, and healthcare, everything costs more, and paychecks just don’t seem to go as far as they used to.

People are having to stretch every dollar, cut back on extras, and make tough choices just to cover the basics. Eating out, vacations, and hobbies have become rare luxuries for many, as more of their income goes to essentials. Saving for the future or emergencies feels out of reach, and unexpected bills can quickly lead to debt. It’s a stressful, exhausting situation that leaves families feeling like they’re constantly trying to keep their heads above water, with no clear way out.

Each day I ask myself, “how did we get here?” It felt back in the 1990s, especially before 9/11, that there was a lot of compassionate capitalism, where companies large and small had some kind of ethics. Now in 2025? So many act like “I got mine, screw you go get yours,” or they are simply stuck. I share these things with you my dear readers because being the old guy in the room, I actually care what happens to these young people.

We won’t know the total “blow out,” of this “beautiful economy” until the end of this year and my take is we all better buckle our seatbelt.

Peace ☮️ and Love 💓 to all here. Thank you for reading what I share as these are based on my insights and experience, that is all.

Onward,

~Mitch 💓💓💓

PS I’ll be covering a plethora of topics through out the rest of July and if you run across a particular topic you want me to cover, please be so kind to send me a direct message and let me know.
