Each day to me is simply a miracle and I want all of my subscribers and followers to know how much I appreciate our connection here.
The are phenomenal times we are living in and as always, we can see the glass as half empty or half full. Me? I always see it as half full and most of the time I need a bigger glass of water!
There are those days where you don’t feel like yourself.
That is okay.
Why?
You may just be having a character building day.
I love the Substack “Life Lessons.”
Why do I love it so much?
Well, sometimes when I get a “Life Lesson,” I realize is to do the exact “opposite” of what is being suggested.
Want an example?
I’ve learned at 67 years of age that it is better to be a bit of an “open book” rather than be a private person.
Why?
There is no where to run or hide.
They know who you are. They know where you shop. They know what “items,” you may be purchasing next because of conversations that you are having at home right off your iPhone. Hey, who knew? LOL
Now, there is a time to keep things all private.
When is that?
That is when it comes to a “business deal,” a new resource, or a vendor or an investor or patron. In that particular circumstance it is much better to tell the other person “what you have done,” not what you are going to do next!
It has also been my experience in business and also with friends that they will try to “bleed” their limitations, their “envy and jealousy,” their “failure” onto you.
All I can do is share my experience and insights with you and my “take on this is” don’t sweat it because they can’t be you, they can’t do what you do, and they live in a lot of fear.
One of the biggest lessons I learned after my wife developed a “turbo cancer,” from her Covid shots was to just keep quiet. Why? It was the right thing to do!
We all self medicate. I don’t care if it’s online games, cannabis, a need for chocolate, or even exercise. We all use something until we don’t need to use it anymore.
Heck, my wife just had a mastectomy and the pain has been so horrific that in order to sleep she has to take a little CBD/THC Gummy so she can get the sleep she needs so she can have a “full recovery,” which I am very confident of!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we all come to a realization of what attracts us or what we are attracted to.
Yeah, I’ve been with the same lady for 39 1/2 year. Others never make it that long. Heck, in my youth I was only interested in dancing or if I did have a relationship it was between the “bar,” and the “car.” (Mums the word). It is true I don’t kiss and tell.
Everything you write here at Substack has got to be an “authentic realization” of yourself, otherwise, it won’t work.
Thank you for letting me pontificate!
